Until the vision screening at her preschool indicated possible problems, Dahlia’s parents had never suspected she had a problem that was impairing her vision. At the recommendation of PBNC, her parents took her for a complete eye exam with an eye doctor, who confirmed Dahlia did indeed have a visual impairment that needed to be treated with glasses. “Dahlia was excited about getting to pick out her own glasses! She is so proud that she can put them on correctly by herself. We are very thankful for the screening because we never knew there was an issue and now feel she will be fully prepared for kindergarten, glasses and all!” Another great story showing PBNC’s mission to ensure good visual health for NC preschoolers!
