Delta Gammas in Action Supporting PBNC’s Mission!
The gift of sight is one of Delta Gamma’s highest priorities, and since 1936 Delta Gamma’s philanthropic purpose has been to stop blindness before it starts. Prevent Blindness NC is so lucky to have a years-long partnership with our local chapter (Eta Kappa from NC State University.)
Delta Gamma members help with vision screening follow-up efforts in our office, read books to children in Triangle-area daycare centers served by the Preschool Vision Screening Program, assist with adult vision screenings at the NC State Fair screening booth, and provide much-needed assistance during PBNC’s annual Parking Lot Fundraiser. We truly couldn’t do it without them.
