Exciting Expansion of Our Community Vision Program!

Prevent Blindness North Carolina (PBNC) is thrilled to announce the expansion of our Community Vision Program through the addition of four new partner Health Centers: Rural Health Group, Amity Medical Group, Kinston Community Health Center, and Hot Springs Health Center. These partnerships will enable us to provide retinal screenings at these locations, significantly broadening our reach and impact. This expansion is made possible through the generous funding from The Duke Endowment. We extend our thanks to Laura Edwards at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association for facilitating these critical introductions, which will help us serve more individuals in need across the state.

The Duke Endowment grant is a game-changer for the Community Vision Program, allowing us to hire additional screeners and enhance our retinal screening services. We are excited about the opportunities this grant presents and are committed to improving eye health and vision care access for North Carolinians. Stay tuned for more updates as we roll out these essential services in our new partner Health Centers.
